Those two images of my mother and I are in conversation with each other, one taken by my mother, one by me, and they deal with family, loss, and addiction, seen from the perspectives of both child and parent.
With an education in photography and a degree in Documentary Directing from The National Film School of Denmark, Michella Bredahl is specialized in auteur-driven documentary films and photography. She mostly works with the camera on her own, which gives her intimate access to her subjects and their stories.
