“On Bleeker Street” is a film excerpt from Lawrence Weiner: Writing on the Wall, a documentary in progress about the trailblazing artist. This section is from Lawrence and his wife Alice Weiner’s life on Bleecker Street in the late 60s and 70s with never-before seen photographs and a voice-over edited from a text by Alice.

Her films include On Becoming (with Michael Silverblatt, Chris Kraus, and Hedi El Kholti) and Cordelia (with Michel Auder, Pat Steir, and Alice Zimmerman). Her documentary Pat Steir: Artist premiered at the Film Society of Lincoln Center’s New York Jewish Film Festival in 2019. She is also the founder of rockypoint Press, a series of artist/writer collaborative prints, books, and films, as well as rockypoint Productions.
